Delete your account
Permanently delete your MoodCast account and all associated data.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email + display name) from Firebase Authentication.
- Every mood check-in you've ever logged — mood levels, energy/focus/sleep/hydration metrics, activity tags, and notes.
- Your profile record from Firebase Realtime Database (
users/<uid>).
- Your notification preferences and any locally cached state on the device.
This is permanent. There is no undo. We don't keep a soft-delete copy. (Firebase's own infrastructure backups may retain data for up to 30 days before final purge — that's outside our control.)
What does NOT get deleted
- If you subscribed to Premium via Google Play, the subscription itself is managed by Google Play. To cancel, go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Deleting your MoodCast account does not cancel a Play subscription.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
If you still have MoodCast installed:
- Open MoodCast
- Bottom tab → Settings
- Scroll to Account → tap Delete account
- Confirm the dialog
Your account and data are wiped immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you've already uninstalled the app, or can't sign in for any reason, email us at abdellah.jaize@gmail.com from the address tied to your MoodCast account, with the subject:

We'll confirm receipt within 48 hours and delete your account within 7 days. We may ask for one piece of verification (the name on the account) to make sure we're deleting the right one.
